Dawlish Horse and Dog Show has been making a name for itself as a local event since the 1930's. Run by a dedicated team of volunteers we are totally non profit. We will be chosing our charities for 2020 soon!

We can't wait to show off our new look Dog Show for 2020!!!

In the morning we have a clear round agility course for you to tackle with your dogs,! Includes jumps, tunnel, weaves and a seesaw- only £3 a go!
​
The agility will be followed by a special performance by Alice Blazer and her professionally trained dogs, who have recently been involved in the making of the new Warner Brothers live action 'Aladdin' film! Alice will also be introducing us to the charity 'Dogs for Good', and demonstrating how dogs are helping people with disabilities.
​
In the Afternoon we will be holding our fun Dog Show, with classes from the waggiest tail to the fastest bonio eater. Class winners please don't forget to join us for the Championship class at the end!! £3 a class to enter.
Our Best Rescue Class is a qualifier for Cornwall & Devon Best Rescue Champiionship!

History
Dawlish Show has been running annually since the 1930's, stopping for the war years and recommencing in approximately 1943
The show could not go ahead if it was not for a dedicated committee which is made up of local volunteers.
In the 1940`s the committee was made up of local farmers and business men, the president being Mr Peter W Hoare of Luscombe Estate and vice president Mrs Ralph Rayner.
All profits from the show go to local charities, voted for by the public each year. Our 2019 charities are Devon Air Ambulance and Starcross School PTFA
Our next show will be held at Warren Farm by kind permission of Richard Weeks who has donated the field free of charge.
